RMS- The Kings of Cash

In the short space of less than five years, RMS has grown from a start-up company to become a major player in the cash in transit (CIT) industry and using mobile workforce technology to help.
Established in Northern Ireland by a highly experienced management team led by Managing Director, Terry Hughes, the company takes an innovative approach to the cash requirements of a fast growing range of clients in the retail, wholesale, leisure and banking sectors.
RMS approached EG Information Consulting to develop a custom software application that would help management schedule the services provided to these sectors via their mobile workforce.
They needed the tool to:
- Manage large contracts
- Provide accountability and transparency to their customers
- To keep track of drivers workflow
- To manage existing contracts
- To fulfil and monitor service level agreements
EG Information Consulting developed a software application which would centrally manage their mobile workforce operation. Using remote synchronization to handheld PDA devices, RMS could keep track of assets serviced, agreements satisfied and plan driver schedules on a daily or weekly basis, tracking actions at any time.
Managers have complete visibility on their staff, and customer service delivery. Contracts are managed and accountability is clear.The tool added extra value by recording issues such as faults and damage.
RMS has made clear operational improvements by using our scheduling software and remote handheld application for their mobile workforce.
The organization has improved the efficiency of their service to customers, they have more visibility on daily performance against service level agreements and contracts.
Not only is RMS saving time and money, but the time saved, allows them to generate more revenue by servicing more clients.
