Role Vacancy - Team Leader

EG Information Consulting Ltd are located in Belfast, Northern Ireland. We are currently looking to recruit a .NET Team Leader to join our expanding team.


Essential Criteria:
  • 3rd level IT degree
  • 4 +years post-graduate experience in ASP .NET, C#, SQL Server, and
  • Experience in developing scalable web applications
  • Experience of database design and optimization
  • Ability to identify, prioritise and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlines
  • Self-motivated and have solid knowledge and experience of the software development life cycle
  • Excellent communication skills

Desirable Criteria: 
  • Professional qualifications such as MCP or MCSD
  • Exposure to source control principles and practises
  • SQL Server Integration Services  
  • Reporting Services
  • Microsoft Sharepoint
  • Windows Forms
  • Windows Mobile Development

Role:

Analysis & Design
Where appropriate:
  • Develop system and user acceptance tests
  • Develop implementation plans
  • Document projects to the agreed standard


Development
  • Obtain a full understanding of business requirements, system requirements, technical requirements & project constraints
  • Develop code/deliverables, according to company standards, within the timeframe and effort specified
  • Unit test code
  • Provide support for system testing, user acceptance testing and implementation testing
  •  Ensure documentation is complete for allocated tasks
  • Complete all project administration in a timely manner e.g. timesheets
  • Ensure Project Managers are appraised of status of work-in-progress 

Customer Liaison
  • Work with the Directors and Project Managers on customer relationship management as appropriate
  • Communicate on the project with the customer as appropriate

Personal Responsibilities
  • Support and assist in the ongoing implementation of the Quality Management System and other company initiatives
  • Maintaining and monitoring effective and thorough communication among the software developers
  • Stay abreast of technology trends

Other
  • Any tasks that the Project Managers and Directors deem reasonable and appropriate
